Wimsy sales are final. Due to the nature of our headpieces, we do not accept returns or offer refunds. You receive pictures of the completed item before it is posted, giving us ample time to adjust anything you are unhappy about. Customers must e-mail their concerns once they receive pictures of the completed headpiece.
Please be aware that the customer is responsible for all shipping charges.
If an item is damaged as a result of quality or craftsmanship, customers must e-mail their concern within 5 days of receiving items for an exchange.

Please Note: In most cases, designs are made to order.
Manufacture times: this is subject to change due to order volumes.
Orders: 3-4 weeks from the date of payment. Each item is custom-made. We do not mass produce.
Rush orders: If you need a headpiece urgently, we can chat via email or Whatsapp. But I do recommend hiring an existing piece instead.
Our headpieces are made by hand, therefore this process and availability of materials mean that each item will have slight variations. We will, however, inform you before starting on the order.
How does payment work?
Payments are processed using the PAYFAST portal, a trusted 3rd party, which has multiple payment options available such as credit cards, debit cards and EFT’s among others. For more info, see Payfast payment methods.
Can you do all designs in a variety of metal finishes?
We use silver, rose gold and yellow gold plated wire. Please select the choice of colour you would require when placing your order or send us an email with your order number and request for a different metal.
Can I send you an image of something I found that I would like to have made?
Yes, I find it beneficial to work with inspiration images.
However, we do not “copy” other Designer’ work and we will make our interpretation thereof. We always send images for approval before dispatching the finished item.
We use a reliable door-to-door courier which takes up to 5 working days and costs R99. Please select this option from the menu when choosing delivery.
Overnight delivery must be collated by the client. Please email me your order number and request to arrange this at email@example.com.
You can collect your headpiece from our studio at 18A 7th Street, Kensington, Cape Town. Please select this option from the menu when choosing delivery.
Will you let me know when my order is ready to dispatch?
Yes, an email will be sent to alert you of delivery. The email will have your tracking number.
Do you have a physical retail store?
No, we do not have a store. We do however have a studio where we see clients by strict appointment for consultations. You may view this from the home page or by following this link.
I am in Cape Town, can I visit you to discuss my custom order requirements?
